Bobbie Jean Dixon's Obituary
Bobbie J. Green Dixon, age 84, a native of Bassfield, MS and a longtime resident of Theodore, AL passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014. She was a longtime member of Cypress Shores Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, H. Dewitt Dixon, son, H. Darrell Dixon, parents, Deway and Bertha (Miller) Green, brother, Melvin Green, sisters, C. Mildred Martin, Jewel D. Dixon, M. Charlene Goar and Jaunice Gray. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra K. Couch, grandsons, Kenneth R. Oldfield Jr., Scott W. Oldfield, sisters, Doris N. Bilbo, Elizabeth E. Miller, brother, Deway Green, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to all that knew her. She will be forever missed and cherished by her family and those that knew her. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 12 noon. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
