Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., and the service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Lewis Kiger officiating. Burial will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
Bobbie was a devoted wife and Mother, and she loved her family very much. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and working in her flower gardens. Bobbie’s greatest love was for the Lord. She was a faithful member of Memorial Heights Baptist Church for 50 plus years, taught the ladies Sunday School Class and played the piano. She was a lady that shared her love of Christ with anyone she met. She was a shining light in every walk of life. Bobbie worked for Tolleson Lumber for many years. She was one of the first ladies to drive a transfer truck in this area. She was always called the pretty little lady in the big truck. She then went on to retire from Myer’s Construction after 20 plus years.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8, KJV
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mildred Wilson; her loving husband of fifty-eight years, James “Wallace” Dean, Sr.; her son, Wally Dean; her great-grandson, Brendan Smith; and her two brothers, Marvin and James Wilson.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Bobbie are her children, Jerry Dean of Perry and Linda Davis of Elko; Daughter-in-law, Debbie Cross (Wayne); seven grandchildren, Josh Dean (Tara), Amy Hill, Justin Gordon (LaShay), Becca Singleton (Trey), Jonathan Gordon (Joli), Dakota Davis and Ken Thaxton; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
