Bipin Vallabhbhai Vashi, 66, passed away on Sunday morning, August 17, 2014 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20 at McCullough Funeral Home Chapel at 417 S Houston Lake Road in Warner Robins GA and open to all who would like to pay their respects. He was born in the city of Surat, the state of Gujarat in India and came to Perry with his wife Pushpa in 1978 via Canada. Bipin quickly became engaged in the local community and was a business owner and developed several hotels in Perry over 30 years. In recent years, he transitioned to the insurance industry where he sold Commercial Property Insurance. He was an active member of the Perry Rotary Club, an active member of the Perry Chamber of Commerce and the Perry Convention and Visitors Bureau. He and his wife are lifetime members of the Shri Umiya Mataji Mandir in Macon. Bipin is survived by his wife, Pushpa, of 39 years and his two sons, Manish Vashi of Atlanta and Meyur Vashi of Athens.
