BILLY ROBERT LEE's Obituary
PERRY, GEORGIA
Billy Robert Lee, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.
He was born in Mendenhall, Mississippi to the late Ernest Monroe Lee and Inez Criscoe Lee.
Bill was a career member of the United States Air Force. He worked
with the Department of Defense as a Minuteman Missile Mechanic. After retiring from the USAF, Bill worked as Terminal Manager at Rebel Motor Freight in Jackson, Mississippi and Super-Sod in Fort Valley, GA. In retirement, he enjoyed visiting with family, working in the yard, traveling, and watching sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Marilyn Hardin.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Bill are his loving and devoted wife, Shirley Parker Lee of Perry, Georgia; his sons, Billy M. Lee (Helen) of Savannah,
Georgia, David Lee of Pearl Mississippi, and James Lee (Pat) of Richland, Mississippi; his “bonus” sons, James Parker (Georgia) of Murrayville, Georgia, Darryl Parker (Norma) of Clarksville, Georgia, Mike Parker (Nicole) of Denver, Colorado, David Parker (Amy) of Clearwater, Florida; his sister, Carolyn Brown of Pearl, Mississippi; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, seven “bonus”
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
