I cannot convey just how much I will miss you, uncle Bill. Or how I already do...
Uncle Bill played an important part in my life growing up and into adulthood. He was the first to teach me that blood didn't always make a family. And between he and my dad, uncle Bill instilled in me some of life's more important lessons and values, making me the man I am today. Thank you.
Uncle Bill was the kindest soul you'd ever meet, and would gladly give you the shirt off his back. He would lift you up when you were down, and help anyone out in a pinch. Simply put, he was a man of principle and integrity, but he also had that humorous side. He could easily make you laugh, turn your head at something witty he'd say, or sometimes both!
In the end, I just wanted to say that I am very, very proud to have called you my uncle. I love you, uncle Bill. Rest in peace.
Also, sending my deepest, deepest condolences to all whose life he touched...
