What a fine man and I’m sure he’s loving the beauty of heaven!
God Bless Ellie and your family!
To me he has always been “Billy” because that’s what we called him when we were kids. Since he was a few years older than me I looked up to him. He seemed to be very smart and wise, even for a youth. Sometimes older cousins look down on younger ones, but not Billy. He was always nice to me. Once we played pitch in his backyard in Atlanta. I threw the ball as hard as I could but he still caught it effortlessly and never mocked me for not being able to throw a hard fastball!
I wish we could have visited more often, at least one last time. But one day we will all be together again, along with Uncle Charlie (my grandfather’s brother) and Aunt Dessie.
Mr. Bill was the kindest of souls and was always ready to talk and listen. In my years working with Ms. Ellie, Mr. Bill would always come and chat. I have so many memories of him during my time at the museum and church. We're sending prayers and love to you, Ms. Ellie and the rest of the family!
Bill what is my dear dear cousin that I’ve known for many years and he was a very wonderful person I wish I could come to the funeral but I am sick and Bill has tested me him and Haley came to see me twice I’m praying for the family and just remember how much I would love to be there Ellie I love you and I’m thinking about you wish I could be there
Ellie, I just heard about this from Nola’s post on Facebook. I am so very sorry to hear about Bill. He sure was a southern gentleman because the few times we met him he was so very nice to us. I could tell when I saw posts of y’all on trips that y’all had a great time together. If we don’t make it to the funeral, please know we are praying and thinking about you and all your family. God is with us all the way and watching over us as we go through these difficult times in our life. Harris and I love you.
Much love and many prayers during this time to the entire Loudermilk family.

To Ellie and your dear children, I am so sorry for your loss. From your dating days until now (although we didn’t cross paths often) Bill remained a humble gentleman and dear friend always. There is nothing but good that I’ve known of him. Ellie, know that you’re in my thoughts with sadness. Cherish your many sweet memories and know that I love you.
