Bettye L. Carlton Hill was born March 20, 1944 to the late Alex and Margrite Carlton. She is survived by her husband for over 53 years, Deacon Billy L. Hill, Sr., 5 children: Billy L. (Tiffany) Hill, Jr., Yolanda (Ezra) Pettway, Derrick (Paula) Hill, Sonya Bennett, and Lakesha Hill. 3 sisters, 3 brothers, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Phillips Temple A.O.H. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 hour. Funeral processions will follow. Bishop Richard C. Curtis, Sr. will be officiating. The church is located at 2257 St. Stephens Rd. Mobile, AL 36617
