Our family was one which Red and Betty befriended on Hemley Road and they were special friends and neighbors. The world, especially Bayou La Batre, is better for their being in it.May God send comfort to Jimmy and Beth and their families.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I have such fond memories of your parents and Red's Drug Store. My siblings and I experienced their kindness.
