Betty Jean Smith's Obituary
Reverend Betty J. Smith, age 77, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL went home to meet the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. She was a member of Magnolia Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Smith, parents, William and Lula Bell Allen, son, James Carl Smith, daughter, Skyelar R. Milstead, grandson, Kevin M. Hill and great grandson, Daniel Parnell. She is survived by her daughter, Naomi S. Parnell, grandchildren, Brian, L. Hill, Elizabeth J. Parnell, Jacqueline N. Hill, James D. Parnell, 7 great grandchildren, brother, Douglas Wayne Allen, Sr., sisters, Patricia (Tommy) Neese, Judy (Hubert) Doby, Wanda E. Cauley, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm at Serenity Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10 am. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Douglas Allen, Jr., John Allen, Jeremy Allen, Archie Keel, Allen Motes, Kevin Quinn. Honorary pallbearers will be Devan Hill, Waylon Motes, Koen Parnell, Logan Motes, and Wyatt Hill.Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
