Betty Jo Massingill's Obituary
Betty Jo Massingill, 83, of Irvington, AL , peacefully passed on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Born March 1, 1933, in Quitman, MS. Daughter of George and Hilda Taylor. A wonderful wife, mother, sister and nanny. She loved cooking big meals for her family. She is survived by her loving husband Robert (Bob) Massingill, son Kenny (Gloria) , and daughters Ginger, Connie and Barbara(Roy) ; sisters Bonnie, Shirley, Cindy and Jewel; brothers Edgar and Tommy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert and sister Catherine. Funeral services will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10 am with visitation from 9 am until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
