Betty Jean Grant Teague's Obituary

Betty Jean Grant Teague, 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Summerhill. Funeral Services are incomplete at this time and will be held in Long Beach, California, in a few days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 208 Langston Road, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Betty was born in Dunlap, Iowa, to the late George and Inez Knutzen Grant. She was a homemaker all of her life. Betty was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Long Beach, California, for 50 years. In 2007, she moved to Perry and transferred her membership to Christ Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Dean Teague; and her sister, Marjorie Smith.
Left to cherish the memories of Betty are her daughters and their husbands, Vicki and David Perez, and Karen and Stanley Bycenski, all of Perry; her grandchildren, Stacy Gray Hopkins (Enon) of Cataula, Georgia, and William Gray of Del Rio, Texas; and her great-grandchild, Reagan Gray Hopkins.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the Summerhill Dimentia Unit for the specialized care and love shown their mother during her final journey home.
