BETTY EASLEY's Obituary
JACKSONVILLE, FL –
Betty Frances Eubanks Easley, 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023. The family will plan a Graveside Service in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, during April or May of 2024. Details of the service will be released as soon as they are finalized.
Betty Eubanks was born in Decatur, Georgia, on June 28, 1929, to the late Monte and Walter Eubanks. In 1946, she married her childhood sweetheart, Milburn “Shine” Easley. In 1956, they moved to Black River Falls, Wisconsin, so Shine could join his brother in the Laundry and Dry-Cleaning business. Black River Falls, Wisconsin, is where they raised their three daughters, Debbie, Dianne, and Geri, and she was a member of the Methodist Church.
Once Shine and Betty retired, they moved to Perry, Georgia. She joined Perry United Methodist Church and was a member while she lived there. In 2016, Betty moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she was a resident at Riverwood Center Nursing Home and lived until her death. She was known to her family and friends as a great cook and dedicated most of her life to her husband and children.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Shine Easley; her daughter, Dianne; her brothers, Hugh, Walter, and Clarence; and her sister, Willie Florence.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Debbie Moore (Bill) of Jacksonville, FL, and Geri Easley (Stephen Petersen) of Anaheim Hills, CA.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
