Life Legacy
FT. VALLEY-Bettina Epps Davidson, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in Bonaire City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to The Westfield School, 2005 US Highway 41 N, Perry, GA 31069, or Perry High School FFA, 1307 North Avenue, Perry, GA 31069, or to the donor's favorite charity.Mrs. Davidson was born in Sparta to the late Marion T. and Rebecca Bradock Epps. After her marriage to the love of her life, Kenneth Davidson, the couple moved to Atlanta where she proudly supported him as he pursued his degree from Georgia Tech. Soon after his graduation, they returned to Middle Georgia to work and raise their family. Mrs. Davidson accepted a position with Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base, from which she retired after nearly 30 years of service. Upon retirement, she continued enjoying farming, gardening, and cooking. Her greatest passion in life was spending time with her family. She cherished family lunch gatherings on Sundays and all of the time that she spent fishing with her husband. Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth W. Davidson; an infant son, Gary Keith Davidson; and her siblings, Roy Epps, Bobbie Epps Brown, Loyd Epps, Keith Epps, and Brenda Epps Meeks.Left to cherish the memories of their "Grandma" are her daughters, Beverly Davidson Puckett (Henry) of Ft. Valley, Marion Davidson Bard (John) of Atlanta, and Deena Davidson Walton (Todd) of Perry; her grandchildren, Brian Puckett (Courtenay), Jackie Bard, John Edward Bard, Will Walton, Ben Walton, and McKinley Walton; her great-grandchildren, Harper Puckett and Jonathan Puckett; and numerous nieces and nephews.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
