Beth Madeline Cook. She was 94 years young. She resided in the home of her son, Mike and Wanda Cook in Mobile AL. She passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 peacefully at 11:49 pm surrounded by her family at her side. Beth Madeline Pryor Cook was born in Long Prairie, MN on April 24, 1922 to the parents of Frank and Mabel Pryor. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Cook, parents, Frank and Mabel Pryor, brother, Sydney Pryor, sisters, Dorothy Goodrich, Grace Wankat, Nona Stuart, Roberta (Bobbie) Pankonin. Up until her heart attack in 2005 she enjoyed quilting and fancy embroidering, spending time with her family and friends. Beth Cook is survived by her son, Michael "Mike" (Wanda) Cook, of Mobile, AL, daughter, Michele (Jerry) Moss of Ocean Springs, MS, her grandchildren, Courtney Cook, Kevin (Brandi) Cook, Michael (Carolyn) Belton, John (Marlene) Belton, Tammy (Jeff) Mattison, Kim Belton, 9 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 12 noon with visitation from 10 am until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
