Bernice 'Bunny' Wood Jones' Obituary

Bernice "Bunny" Wood Jones, 89, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Beaver Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Sandefur Road, Kathleen, Georgia 31047.
Ms. Jones was born in Dooly County to the late James Daniel and Addie Walton Wood. As a young lady, she was a sheet metal mechanic at Robins Air Force Base. She soon made the decision to go to nursing school, enjoyed a long career as a Registered Nurse, and retired from Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Survivors include her sister, Evelyn Wood, and her brother, Walton Wood (Becky), both of Kathleen; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
