Ben was my heart and always will be. I was privileged to have him as my wonderful friend. I have so many great memories to cherish - always fun ones- in the choir, on the back pew at church, working together at church, trips, and just sitting at his kitchen table. LeeleeP.S. Ben was a great friend to both of us. Bobby certainly loved him. We share in your loss and pray your family will find peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Shirley and Jackie, we were so sorry to learn of Ben's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with both of you and your families. May you know the peace of our Lord during this sad time.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. Newberry was such a kind and sweet man. He had a way about him that could make anyone feel special after speaking with him. I will pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding to comfort you.
I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Ben's passing. He and Miss Mildred were incredible neighbors. He made sure I was always safe and was there as a friend whenever I needed him. I remember he insisted on seeing both Sara Grace and Bethany on their prom nights. He took pictures of them as if they were family. I guess in a way they were. Thanks for sharing him with my girls. Prayers with you all as you go through the difficult days.
I am so sorry about the passing of Mr. Ben. I was also a Ga Tech co-op who worked at Blue Bird from 1964-1968. It was my honor to work with Mr. Ben during that time. Since I also went to school and church with Cheryl, Bert, and Kay, I have had limited contact with Mr Ben since then. My condolences for the entire family! Regards,
Sending our thoughts to all the family at this time. Love, Linda (Rodgers) Goodman
