Barney Earl Parker's Obituary
Barney E. Parker, born on June 18, 1940 in Mobile, Al., passed away in his home in Lucedale, MS on June 3, 2016 at 75 years of age. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Parker, parents Thomas Sr. and Myra Parker, brothers Jesse, Tommy, Shirley and William Parker, 3 nephews and 1 niece. He is survived by his children Lynn, Mary Ann and Tom Parker, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. The family extends a special thanks to Maegan Broome and Darlene Berry and pallbearers, Derek, Garrett and Casey Smith, Micheal and Matthew Morgan, and Mary (Lulu) Blakely. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at Serenity Funeral Home. The funeral will take place Monday, June 6, 2016 in the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home at 10am. Interment will follow in the Palestine Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
