PERRY-Barbara Irene Kopp Lawless, 100, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016. The family will visit with friends on Friday, June 24, 2016, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Mrs. Lawless was born in Los Gatos, California. She grew up Catholic and was a member of St. Lucy's Catholic Church for over 50 years. A certified school teacher for 20 years, she earned her credentials to teach deaf children later in her career. In 2006, Mrs. Lawless moved to be closer to her son in Perry, where she became a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Christophe William Lawless; and her brother, Jack Kopp.Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Lawless are her only son and his wife, Christopher and Elizabeth Lawless of Perry; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
