JONES COUNTY –
Ashton Brianna Clark passed away unexpectedly at the tender age of 25 on Monday, November 29, 2021. In celebration of her life and to mourn her passing, graveside services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. in Perry Memorial Gardens in Perry, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to help with the funeral expenses. Donations may be to Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, P. O. Box 52, Perry, GA 31069. Ashton was a fun-loving, free-spirited young woman who grew up in the small town of Gray, Jones County, Georgia, apart from some years spent in California. She was a caring soul that was full of energy, love, and laughter. Despite her age, she enjoyed life to the fullest here on earth. Ashton loved animals and caring for others, especially those she loved. In her final years, she studied Psychology and Neuroscience at Grand Canyon University and was working towards her Bachelor’s Degree with plans of attending medical school, aiming to achieve her dream of becoming a psychologist.
Ashton was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rebecca Sue Cranford; her paternal grandmother, Cheryl McRaney; her paternal great-grandfather, Charles McRaney; her maternal great-grandparents, Cecil and Rhoda Cranford, and J.B. Davenport; her maternal great-uncles, Thomas Cranford and Anthony Davenport; and her maternal great-aunt, Brenda Knight.
Left to keep her spirit alive and cherish the memories they made with Ashton are her mother, Rosanne Cranford-Clark; her father and stepmother, Justin and Mary Ann Clark; her sister, Courtney Clark; her stepsister, Marcela Garcia; her maternal aunt, Rachael Cranford-Williams (Robbie); her paternal aunt, Jade Garcia; her maternal grandfather, Richard Cranford; her paternal grandfather, Donald Clark; her paternal grandmother, Linda Garcia; her maternal great-grandmother, Patricia Davenport; her paternal great-grandmother, Mary McRaney; her maternal cousins, Lauren Williams and Corey Williams; her paternal great-aunts, Vickie Clark and Sandy Clark; her paternal great-uncles, Norman Clark, Timothy McRaney, Tom McRaney (Jackie); her maternal great-uncles, J.C. Cranford (Kathy), Phil Davenport, and John Davenport; her maternal great-aunt, Ann Cranford; and many other extended family members.
