Armond L. Law's Obituary
Armond L. Law, 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, after sustaining injuries from a recent fall. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary at First Baptist Church of Haynesville. The Funeral Service will also be on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Haynesville. Interment will be in Marshallville City Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Haynesville, P. O. Box 69, Clinchfield, GA 31013.
Mr. Law was born in Macon County to the late Artemus Lester and Jessie Louise Hinton Law. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, the U.S. Naval Reserves, and the Georgia National Guard, collectively active for over 30 years. He was a Machinist and a Property Inspector with Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Law was an active member of First Baptist Church of Haynesville, where he had been since 2012. He loved his church and his Sunday School Class, the Senior Adult Class. Prior to his beloved wife's passing, Mr. Law and his wife were members of First Baptist Church of Marshallville for over 60 years, where he was a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Martha Lannelle Crowe Law; his brother, Edward Law; and his daughter-in-law, Nancy Young Law.
Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Law are his daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Bill Brakebill of Milton, Georgia; his son, Ricky Law of Hawkinsville; his grandchildren, Christen Law Redding (Tim), Hunter Law, and Conner Law; a great-grandson, Timothy Redding; a brother, Clinton Law (Betty); and several nieces and nephews.
