ARLANE DIXON WATSON's Obituary
HAYNESVILLE –
Arlane Dixon Watson, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The Funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Walter Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Haynesville, 2953 US Hwy 341, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.
Arlane was born on November 7, 1941, to the late Wade H. and Ollie Warnock Hall. She was born and raised in Dublin, Georgia, and was the oldest of seven children. Arlane and her husband, Paul Watson, moved from Warner Robins to Haynesville in 1992, where they have lived ever since. She was a member of Haynesville Assembly of God Church. Arlane worked in various locations through the years in the food service industry. However, she felt that her most important job was caring for her family, and she did everything she could to do so.
Arlane was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Paul Richmond Watson; her son, Joseph “Joe” Watson; her son-in-law, Randy Scott; her siblings, Betty Nasworthy, Hutson Hall, Wadeen Hall, and an infant sister, Ortez Hall.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Arlane are her daughter, Paulette Scott of Haynesville; her daughter Anne Butler (Patrick) of the Villages, Florida; her daughter, Lane Spillers (Lee) of Haynesville; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; her brother, Reverend Walter Hall (Patricia) of Millen, GA; her brother, Labrano Hall of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
While we are never ready to accept that our loved ones have died, we all grieve in different ways. Please allow Mrs. Watson’s family some privacy as they learn to live without their mother/grandmother. Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
