ANTHONY E. COLUCCI's Obituary
BONAIRE –
Anthony Emmanuel Colucci, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2023, after an extended illness. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Graveside services will also be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Anthony was born in Paterson, New Jersey, on July 17, 1935, to the late Joseph and Linda Chinchiano Colucci. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Army. He was a self-employed residential and commercial builder most of his life. Anthony worked in New Jersey, New York, and Florida for many years and was credited with the construction of the first 21-story condominium building on Daytona Beach. He was an expert at hanging sheet rock and could immediately calculate how much was needed for an entire building or home after just one layout measuring. Anthony moved to Georgia in 1985 and soon began developing residential areas in Middle Georgia, including many homes in Lake Wildwood in Macon, and he built the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church of Haynesville. After his retirement, he spent a great deal of time fishing and hunting. Anthony was loyal to his family and will be dearly missed.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Anita Colucci; and his brother, Joseph Colucci.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Anthony are his loving and devoted wife of twenty-eight years, Linda Boyer Colucci of Bonaire; his children, Cheryl Colucci Ennen of Fort Myers, FL, Brenda Colucci Rice (Greg) of Macon, Michael Anderson (Lori) of Kathleen, and Robert Anderson (Brittany) of Perry; his grandchildren, Amber Rice James (Jesse), Calaylah Rice Spivey, Taylor Ennen, McKenzie Anderson, Riley Anderson, Dustin Abbott, Brent Abbott (C. J.), Brittany Noles (Jimmy), Peyton Heard, and Hayden Heard; his great-grandchildren, Remi James, Brynleigh Spivey, Sawyer Spivey, and Clarissa Abbott; his sister, Marlene Ackerman of Daytona Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
