Ann Langston Taylor's Obituary
PERRY-
Ann Langston Taylor, 82, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Perry. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., the hour preceding the service, in the Sanctuary at First Baptist Church of Perry. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Perry House of God Campaign, 1105 Main Street, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Houston County to the late Robert Lee Batchelor, Sr. and Sara Busbee Batchelor. She worked as a bookkeeper for Tolleson Lumber Company & Tolleson Supply for 40 years. A long-time member of First Baptist Church of Perry, she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Langston, and her husband, M. L. Taylor.
Left to cherish the memories of "Miss Ann" are her daughter, Patti Langston Cordova (Robert); her grandchildren, Sara Ann Cordova and Orry Cordova; her siblings, Joyce B. Griffin (Paul) of Perry, Martha B. Pierce (Jeff) of Warner Robins, Mary B. Jones (Eston) of Eastman, Bobby Batchelor (Martha) of Macon, and Dick Batchelor (Margaret) of Broussard, Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to all of the nurses and aides who cared for "Miss Ann" at the Church Home, Andrews Terrace, Summerhill, and with Heart of Georgia Hospice.
