PERRY-Amy Flournoy Maddox, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 1, 2017. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church of Kathleen, 101 Bear Branch Road, Kathleen, GA 31047. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Perry Group AA, Alno Clubhouse, 203 South Street, Perry, GA 31069.Amy grew up in Perry. She loved music and enjoyed singing and dancing. Although she struggled with health issues most of her life, she remained positive through her journey at Celebrate Recovery at Southside Baptist Church of Kathleen. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Flournoy.Survivors include her children, Kameron Flournoy (Natalie) of Gray, Matt Maddox and Summer Davison, both of Perry; her father, Horace Flournoy (Doris) of Perry; her brothers, Curtis Flournoy (Martha) of Elko and Jeff Flournoy (Donna) of Perry; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The family will gather at the home of Amy's father, Horace Flournoy.
