He was such a joy to be around and talk to. He always has a smile on his face and a joke or story to tell. As a child I enjoyed a lot of sleepovers with his daughter Renee. His home was a home away from home for me. He loved the Lord so much and everyone knew it through his testimony . God used him to bless so many. He will be missed but one day we will see him again.
I will forever cherish our (almost) weekly visits together, and Allen's love for our family. Another veteran is finally at peace - in the arms of his Lord, and we will meet again on that other shore. I love you forever, man. Dan Topolewski
Went to church services with Allen and Juanita. When Allen found out I was a Vietnam Veteran he gave me information on the Yuba county VA representative. Because of Allen I was able to get medical care and monetary compensation. Juanita drew a map to show us the easiest way to get to McClellan outpatient clinic. Really missed them when they moved to Georgia but happy they could be with their family. Juanita is a great piano player and plated for our worship services and the kid's church. Allen and Juanita were faithful in their attendance and offering giving. To his family, loved ones and friends I say Allen was a great man, great soldier and above all a Christian. Rejoice because he isn't confined to a wheelchair anymore. He is leaping with his heavenly body and praising his lord and savior Jesus Christ. Ken Brown
Greatest story teller ever and a man of his word. If he said he would pray for you, you know you were prayed for. I have missed our long talks, but I rejoice that he is walking with Jesus! God bless to the family.
