Alice Pearl Johnson's Obituary
Alice Pear Johnson, age 81, passed away on December 4, 2015. She was a devoted mother whose life surrounded her children and grandchildren that she loved to dote on. She was described as being love and caring, so much so that she would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it and was devoted to the Lord. She was also vibrant, and did not have any trouble speaking her mind. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Katie McDonald, brothers James Jr., Bobby, and Jerry, son, Mike Kilpatrick, and great granddaughter, Alyssa Phelps. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles Johnson, sons, Tony (Linda) Kilpatrick, Dennis (Mary) Kilpatrick, Scott (Tina) Johnson, daughters, Kay (Glen) Polk, Kelly Bohannon, stepchildren, Cindy (Mike), Randy, Rochelle, Ingrid (Jeff), Theresa (Charles), grandchildren, B.J., Kevin, Tiffany, Tara, Michael, Clay, Ashley, Steven, Jonathan, Amanda, Amy, Sharon, Rodney, Adam, Stephenie, Colby, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sisters Lou and Eloise, brothers Danny, Johnny, and Gene, devoted daughter-in-law, Sonja Crow, devoted friends Bobby and Brenda Morris, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2 pm. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
