Mrs. Holley was born in Majestic, Kentucky, to the late Ira L. and Virgie Maynard Justice. She was a member of Liberty Independent Baptist Church. A homemaker, she was totally supportive of her military husband, who moved their family many times. She enjoyed creating a loving environment for her children wherever his job took them. Mrs. Holley loved serving others, praising others for their accomplishments, no matter how big or how small, and lifting others up to the Lord. Mrs. Holley's passion was fishing. She spent many hours on the edge of some water, wetting her hook, and delighting in God's creation. She taught all of her grandchildren to fish and treasured the moments she spent with them. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 59 years, Thomas E. Holley, CMSgt, (RET); three brothers; and four sisters.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, David Holley of Perry, Corlis Holley Alexander of Columbus, Cindy Reynolds (Bob) of Hawkinsville, and T. L. Holley of Perry; her sister, Mary Bernice Rutherford of Pampa, Texas; her grandchildren, Scott Hall, Noah Holley, and Emma Holley; and several nieces and nephews.
