WARNER ROBINS-Alice Joyce Fritzen, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Mrs. Fritzen will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Raymond Melvin Fritzen, in Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas, at a private service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Care, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, GA 31069.Mrs. Fritzen was born in High Point, NC, to the late Goley E. and Mary Cornelia Sexton. In her younger years, she was a Data Processor for the United States Government at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC. Mrs. Fritzen had lived in New Mexico from the early 1980's until very recently when she moved to Houston County. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Ray Fritzen; and 2 brothers, John Hussey and Bill Hussey. Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Fritzen are her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Margo Whitaker of Bonaire; her step-son, Gary R. Fritzen of Palm Springs, California; her grandchildren, Sharmaine Hinkle of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Angelina Stencel of Lakeland, Florida; her three great-grand-daughters, Kaetlinn, Makenna & Mandy; her sister, Jacqueline Craig of Mascot, Florida; her brother, Alfred Hussey of High Point, NC; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
