Alfred Gene Heacock Sr.'s Obituary
Alfred “Gene” Heacock Sr., 68, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 with his daughter Belle and granddaughters Joanie and Kimberly at his side. Gene was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Desie Heacock, son in law Kenneth Hughes, grandsons Alvin Bosarge Jr. and Joshua Heacock. He is survived by his daughters Ingrid (Matthew) Patrick, Belle (K.D.) Hughes. His sons Alfred (Donna) Gene Heacock Jr and Kenneth Heacock. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gene was a career HVAC technician and loyal employee of Southeastern Contractors for 13+ years. He was a loving father and grandfather. He had a reserved, quiet demeanor with a quick and ready smile for those he loved and respected. At holidays he was known for his killer mashed potatoes. These are the memories that will make him live in our hearts and souls forever. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 10 am. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
