Alexis Tinell Gingerella's Obituary
Alexis Tinell Gingerella "Lexi", age 16, of Theodore, AL was born September 3, 2000 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS and passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2016 at her home. She started school at Faith Academy from K5 until 9th grade. At Faith she sung in the choir, learned to play piano and swam on the swim team. We moved her to Baker High School in Mobile the start of the 10th grade. There she sang with The Belles of Baker and a member of the Pride of Baker Band. She loved music and playing the piano. She was a devoted daughter, niece, cousin and friend to many who will miss her. She volunteered her time as a candy striper at Singing River Hospital and especially loved the ER because she was an adrenaline junkie. Alexis is survived by her mother and step father Shannon and John Wiggins, father and step mother, Edward III and April Gingerlla, aunts, Tammy Derouen, Sherry Garvin and Connie Bolin, uncle, Darrell Corley, many others this includes the "continent of North America!" She is preceded in death by her grandparents Lloyd and Margaret Corley, and Edward Jr., and Myra Gingerlla, step grandmothers, Vicky Corley and Rose Wiggins. Alexis is also preceded by her uncle Ferris Deroven. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2015 from 2 to 5 pm from Serenity Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 2 pm. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
