Alex Balkcom Jr, Age 48, a native of Laurel, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Irvington, AL passed away on Tuesday, October 18,2016. He loved Riding his BIKE and ALABAMA football. He also loved Racing, and Fishing. He was preceded in death by Loving wife Pamela Balkcom. He is survived by Daughters Helen (Justin) Grimes, Patricia Balkcom, Dixie (Brandon) Cotton, 14 grandchildren, Brittyn, Michael, Samirah, Nevaeh, Elijah, Jermiah, Braxton, Jayden, Damon, Christopher, Cassie, Braelynn, Brentley, Bransyn. Father, Alex Balkcom Sr., Best friend, Brad Spaulding, other relatives and MANY friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2 pm with visitation from 12 noon until service time.
