ALDEN STANLEY NEIL's Obituary
PERRY, GEORGIA
Alden Stanley Neil, 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2023, after a brief illness. A private Graveside Service will be held in Perry Memorial Gardens.
Alden was born on August 31, 1941, in Summersville, West Virginia. He loved the Lord. One of his favorite pastimes was going to flea markets. He was a Master Mechanic, a Master Welder, and a Master Fabricator who put his skills and talents to good use making repairs for his family and friends in his own shop as well as throughout his successful career. Alden retired from Georgia Pacific in Mount Hope, West Virginia, after many years of dedicated service. He loved Bluegrass music and his West Virginia University Mountaineers!
Alden was preceded in death by his parents, Viro and Ela Brock Neil; his wife of fifty-one years, Marilyn Sue Neil; a daughter, Carla Jo Martin; and a sister Ramona Neil.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Alden are his daughter, Shannon Sleboda of Salem, Virginia; his son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Carmen Neil of Perry, Georgia; three grandchildren, Amanda Marr (Adam), Jonathan Sleboda, and Easton Neil; a great-grandson, Aiden Marr; his siblings, Robert of Fayetteville, West Virginia, David of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Linda, Marilyn Swager, Gary, Michael and Dennis, all of Summersville, WV; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
