Albert Lee Haynes' Obituary
Albert Lee Haynes, 83, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery immediately following the service. Pastor Fred McCoy will officiate. Visitation will be on Monday, March 3, 2014, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Flowers will be graciously accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Houston Lake Baptist Church Building Fund, 2300 Highway 127, Perry, GA 31069.
Mr. Haynes was born in Jackson County to the late Oscar Haynes and Gennie Baxter Haynes Whidby. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Army. He lived in Warner Robins for 40 years before moving to Perry in 1995. Mr. Haynes was a mechanic for Armstrong World Industries for 39 years. He loved going to the lake and spent a great deal of time fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He was a member of Houston Lake Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Neary, and his son, Kenneth Bruce Haynes.
Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Haynes are his loving wife of 61 years, Helen Newman Haynes; his son, Alan Haynes of Hawkinsville; two grandchildren, Annie Haynes and Dylan Haynes; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
