ALAN EUGENE HAGER SR.'s Obituary

Alan Eugene Hager Sr., 75, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family respectfully requests donations to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
Alan was born in Elmira, New York. He was the son of the late Neal Osgood Hager, Sr., and Margaret Cummings Hager. Alan and his wife, Linda have lived in Houston Springs since 2007. Mr. Hager was a retired Lieutenant with the New York Department of Corrections. A member of the Harvest United Methodist Church, he was a member of SAL with the American Legion in Wayne, N.Y. Along with his loving wife, Linda, they raised over $100,000 for cancer research while in Bradenton, Florida. Mr. Hager was very active until his illness, as he loved golf, was a member of the Faircrakers, and volunteered at the Perry Welcome Center.
Alan was preceded in death by his brother, Neal Hager, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Linda D. Hager; their children, Alan Hager, Jr. (Lori Lynn) of Valdosta, GA; Scott Hager (Barbara) of Aiken, SC; Christopher Hager (Jodie) of New Carlisle, OH; and Carrie Waite (James Bess) of St. Petersburg, FL. nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Brothers, Edwin Hager (Pamela) of Lithia, FL; and David Hager (Elaine) of High Point, NC.
