Agnes Terry Mosteller's Obituary
Agnes Terry Mosteller,92, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Perry United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be on Monday, February 25, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00, the hour prior to the service, at the church. The family suggests contributions to the Perry United Methodist Church, Pink Ladies Auxillary, or the donor's favorite charity.
Mrs. Mosteller was born in Ellaville the daughter of the late Earl and Mrytle Kelly Terry. She had lived in Perry since 1944. Very active for most of her life, she was retired from Nelson and Turk Used Cars. She had also worked at Farm Bureau and the ASCS office. Mrs. Mosteller was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College. A long-time member of the Perry United Methodist Church, she was in the Howell Cobb Sunday School Class. She was a wonderful cook, and she loved taking care of the "old folks" and caring for others. Other joys in her life were her many long years as a Pink Lady and making hospice pads for cancer patients. She loved her family, especially her four grandsons. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Lawrence Mosteller; and her siblings, Kelly Terry, Curtis Terry, Edna Watts, and Meryl Watts.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry Mosteller (Vicki) of Perry and Melba Mosteller Wilkinson of Macon; her sister, Myrtis Usry of Americus; her grandsons, Tripp Mosteller (Leigh) of Newnan, Terry Mosteller (Mary Beth) of Kansas City, Missouri, Eric Wilkinson (Lacey) of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and Ben Wilkinson of Atlanta; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Adam Wilkinson; her sisters-in-law, Billie Mosteller of Perry, Juliette Terry of Ellaville, and Glenice Terry of Americus; and several nieces and nephews.
