My sincere condolences to the family of this fine lawyer and gentleman. I did not see his obituary in the GA Bar Journal and I just got the notice of his death. We were classmates at Athens High School where he was the trainer for the football and basketball teams. Lots of fond memories and a sad time for all of us

I worked at Georgia Federal Bank, now CB & T and Tom was a frequent customer. He was always laughing, smiling and a breath of fresh air and I so enjoyed him when he came into the bank. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My God bring you comfort in the days, weeks and months ahead.

Tom was a great friend and lawyer whom I had the pleasure of knowing for a lot of years. He will be sorely missed.
I am so sorry I will be out of state on Friday and unable to attend the services for Tom! He will always hold a very special part of my heart--we went through some sticky situations during our tenure at the HCBE but Tom was always so professional, so upbeat, so strong in his faith. His advice was always correct but he also knew his limitations and put his clients above his pride--the sign of a great man. I also know he loved his family more than life itself...often giving me advice on my home life... I have lost my Daddy and I grieve for you all...I can only imagine what an amazing Papa he was! I will continue to pray for you all--I am so sorry I will be out of state and unable to be at the service!
