Joyce was born in Hapeville, Georgia, to the late Clarence Benjamin, Sr. and Lydia Elois Cohran. In 1969, she moved to Perry and raised her family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-five years, Forrest Baxter Baynard; her grandsons, JJ Andrews and Jeremy Martin; her siblings, Clarence Cohran, Jr., Irma Harper, and Doris Jenkins. Left to cherish the memories they shared with Joyce are her children; Debora Salter Duryea of Senoia, Georgia, Denise Salter Martin of Jackson, Georgia, Delores Kay Salter (Gary) Brown, of Perry, Georgia, Angela “DeeDee” Salter (Scott) Wrigley of Macon, Georgia, Lee (Melanie) Salter of Perry, Georgia; her step-children; Tommy Baynard, Ronnie Baynard, Dennis Baynard, and Vickie Morgan, all of Virginia; her grandchildren, Jamey Martin of Piedmont, South Carolina, Justin (Julie) Patrick of Senoia, Seth (April) Patrick of Monticello, Catherine (Matt) Moulton of Kathleen, Tristan Patrick of Senoia, Kaeleigh Duryea of Senoia, Stephen (Galadriel) Johnson of Hawkinsville, Matthew Salter and Mark Salter, both of Perry; multiple great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her sister, Patricia Ann Miller of Kennessaw, and numerous cousins. Condolences for the family may be left in our online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
