PENSACOLA, FL — Don Howard Vance, 68, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 in Pensacola, Florida. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with the Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service Don was the son of the late Kenson Reeves Vance Sr. and Louise Howard Vance of Perry, Georgia. He was born in Perry, Georgia on October 22, 1953. Don graduated from Perry High School and resided in Perry for over forty years. After working many years for the Brevard County School System, Don retired and remained in Melbourne, Florida until his recent move to Pensacola, Florida. Don was a member of Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, Florida. Don was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football. He especially loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed spending time with family. Don was a good and caring brother and friend to all. He is loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Don is survived by his sister, Jean Vance and brother, Michael Vance (Connie); five nephews and nieces: Jana Mueller (Frank), Paige Hering (Jay), Kenson R. Vance, III (Brenda), William E. Whitlock IV (Tara) and Suzanne Swan (Chris); fourteen great nephews and nieces: Jacob and Bria Mueller, Taylor, Jacob and Reese Hering, Kenson R. Vance IV, Madison (Tony), Christian, Shaelen, and Laken Whitlock, Colin Swan, Jesiah and Roman Jenkins and Chloe Whitlock.
